Below is an opportunity to make-up shooting sports merit badges.  If you are interested, please make the arrangements.  I will not be able to attend.

Just a reminder that Troop 85 has the following scouts that did not complete shooting sports Merit Badges at Hale Scout Reservation this summer:

 

Archery – Colin Fergeson

Archery – Garrison Marsh

Archery – Coleman Ross

Archery – Max Trost

 

The Indian Nations Council Shooting Sports Committee is offering a Shooting Sports Merit Badge Make-up day at the Williamson Shooting Sports Complex.  Please check the attached form and below for details.

 

The Shooting Sports Committee will provide NRA Range Safety Officers, NRA Rifle Instructors, NRA Shotgun Instructors, and USA Archery Instructors to work with the scouts.  

 

Scouts must be accompanied by their parent or two-deep leadership of the troop.

 

The scout may pay the fees for shooting when they arrive at Williamson Shooting Sports Complex.  There is a map to WSSC on page 2 of the attached form.  All necessary equipment and consumables will be provided at the fees listed on the form.

 

In order to provide adequate instruction, we are asking each scout to complete the attached form and email it to Lbahler at cox.net no later than Thursday, August 22.

 

Please pass this information along to those scouts in your troop that need to complete the shooting qualification portion of the merit badge.  This event is NOT for scouts that have not started the merit badge.
