Make a list of Winter Camping Essentials for the young scouts

Finish campout prep tonight.

Finish Christmas Party planning for next week.

Patrols need to make sure they have their flag, patch, and cheer for each
meeting.

 

List for Winter Camping:

Long pants

Hats/Stocking caps

Thermal pants

Headlamp

Heavy jacket, light jacket (layers)

Gloves

Wool socks

Extra change of clothes to change into for sleeping (dry)

Heavier sleeping bag

Rain Gear

Hiking Boots/not tennis shoes

Eating utensils

Plate/bowl/mess kit

Nalgene

Mug for hot chocolate

Scout book in plastic bag with writing utensil

Terma-rest

Sleeping bag liner

Travel in First Class Uniform - not scarves

 

Buffalo patrol still needs to purchase patrol patches

Need to call Hudson and get him coming back, as well as his brother

 

Christmas Party

Dirty Santa - $10 money limit - Must have brought something to play - has to
be wrapped/bagged

Who can dress the warmest

Will be small prizes

Watch the movie, "Elf"

Food

Bring a dessert contest - Best dessert

Each patrol should come up with three game activities - indoor games

Traino's will run satellite radio from phone for Christmas music

 

Work on Cinematography
