Subject: Be prepared!

It might be always sunny in Philadelphia, but it's frequently rainy in
Edinburgh.

The forecast for this weekend continues to evolve, but it appears that there
will be thunderstorms on Friday and a chance of rain on Saturday. Please
come prepared to cope with the elements and make provisions to proceed with
the program.
It may be necessary to use the campsite huts or bring canopies for the
advancement sessions on Saturday morning. The games will proceed in the wet
conditions unless safety becomes an issue. It's possible that the outdoor
climbing activity will be suspended (no pun intended) and moved indoors to
the climbing wall. And please be sure to encourage your Scouts to come
prepared with raingear and a spirit of, "Let's do this thing!"

The Scots have been living and cooking and competing in the rain for
centuries. Can we expect any less from the Scouts? Let's plan to make it
epic! Thanks again for your time, support, commitment and enthusiasm.

John
