[Bsa-troop85] Please Respond: Troop 85 to help out Packs at Rally Nights, September 5th and 12th

Hello, All:

 

On Thursday, September 5th, Troop 85 has an opportunity to assist 3 Cub
Scout packs with their Rally night meetings.  The good thing is that our
involvement is relatively small.  The best thing is that it gives us the
opportunity to get names, numbers, and email addresses of Webelos den
leaders and invite them to Webelos Outdoor Weekend to camp with us on
October 12th-13th.

 

I need volunteers!!!  I need a few adults and boys to assist at two location
tomorrow night, and 1 location on Thursday September 12th.  Here is the
information:

 

9/5/2013 @6:30pm  Packs 285 & 785, Jenks East Cafeteria   

9/5/2013 @6:30pm Pack 585, Jenks Southeast

 

&

 

9/12/2013 @6:30pm Pack 385, Jenks West, Cafeteria, Bldg. C

 

Duties include:

1.  assisting with Flip Chart (if needed)

2.  gathering completed Youth Applications

3.  Collecting Scout Fee

4.  Picking up sign-in sheet (provided by district)

5.  Returning all materials (handbooks, Youth Applications, Scout Fees,
sign-in sheet & flip chart) to Scout Office the next day.

 

**We will not likely be doing #5.  

 

This is what it amounts to:  Go there and be polite, respectful, helpful,
etc.  Boys will likely help entertain the cub scouts and adults will
probably "be there" for the adults - passing out forms, pens, etc.

 

We need to have a presence in these Packs, or we will slowly become smaller
and smaller.  

 

PLEASE LET ME KNOW TONIGHT or EARLY TOMORROW IF YOU CAN ASSIST.
