[Bsa-troop85] PLC Meeting Minutes 9/9/13

Reviewed individual goals.  

Worked on date for Webelos Invitational.  Opportunity to meet and teach
Webelos about our troop and Boy Scouts in general.  Should be approximately
2 hours.  Include firebuilding, putting up tents, making lunch, clean-up,
games, etc.  Looking at September 29th from 11:30am to 2:30.  Will check
with scouts.

 

Upcoming events:

 

September 12th, Rally night for Pack 385 at Jenks West, 6:30pm.  Need help.

 

Popcorn sales September 14th and 15th.  Popcorn was picked up by Cheryl
Gillespie and Don Curry.  Need to determine how to disperse, review
schedule, fill holes in schedule.

 

Next Monday, possible Webelos visitors.  Planned what to do and what to have
on hand for the visitors.  

Will plan September campout at Spavinaw State Park.

Will begin Photography Merit Badge - all scouts need to bring a camera -
preferably not a phone camera.

 

Campout September 20th-22nd at Spavinaw State Park.  

 

Merit Badge Fair, September 28th, 9-3pm at NSU-BA.

 

Salvation Army, September 29th.

 

OA Fall Ordeal on October 4th-6th.

 

Webelos Outdoor Weekend Campout, Camp Garland, October 11th-13th.

 

Troop 85 Court of Honor, October 14th

 

Webelos troop visits 

 

Set-up cobbler at 6:30 during PLC

10 minutes announcement and Introductions

40 minutes Patrol activities - 10 minutes at each patrol - knots, first aid,
boy scout information, plant/animal ID

10 minutes with Reese, Peter, SPL and ASPL - Meet and Greet, Q & A

20 minutes games

10 minutes serve cobbler and closing
