Happy Spring Break, I hope you all are enjoying a change of pace this week.

Friday at 5:30PM we will be loading the trailer to prepare for our campout to Red Rock Canyon State Park.
It will take us over two hours to get to the park, so please come on time so we can be leaving by 6PM.

CONSENT FORMS:
Please fill out and bring consent form for your son for this campout.

We currently have these adults going on the campout:
Marsh - Harder - Musshafen - Stone - Weida (Thank you for your help, dads!)
If there are more adults that can go, please let me know so I can include you in the food count.
We will caravan in as many cars as needed to haul the boys. If you are able to drive and take boys, please let me know.

FOOD MONEY:
If scouts have not already paid their $15 for food, please be sure to bring it and give it to the boy in charge of food for your patrol.
Adults please bring $20 to contribute for meals.

FIREWOOD:
Available firewood at the campground at Red Rock Canyon has been used, so the camp host asked that we bring our own firewood. If you can contribute firewood, please bring it!

COOKING CONTEST:
The boys will be competing for the best meals in a Cooking Contest this weekend. We look forward to sampling some fine campout cooking. Prize for the winning patrol will be a special treat to be announced.

WEATHER:
The forecast is looking very nice for this weekend, so please bring appropriate clothes and shoes for hiking. Hats or sunglasses would be helpful and sunscreen is a great idea.

WHAT TO BRING:
Wear Class A for traveling, Class B for camping
Good sturdy shoes for hiking
Water bottle
Sun protection, hat, sunglasses, sunblock
Food money ($15 for boys if they haven’t already paid)
Scout book for those boys who need to have requirements signed off
Sleeping bag and personal gear

If you have any questions, please contact me.
It’s going to be a great weekend!

Paul
