Hello, Troop:

 

Below are the minutes from the Patrol Leader's Council meeting tonight - the
meeting of the SPL, ASPL, PLs, and APLs.

 

 

 

Attendance:

Ben Curry

Mr. Curry

 

Patrol Leaders called most of the numbers provided for their patrols to
remind them to come to the meetings.  Many of the numbers were not picked
up.  Need to see if we can get better phone numbers for people.  Calling
patrol phones numbers each week.  Report back on Mondays.

 

Each patrol should schedule a campout each quarter starting October-December
and going forward.  They will bring their first quarter campout options to
the campout this weekend.

 

Each person should bring at least one person to visit the troop from each
patrol.  The visitors do not have to join, but we should make every effort
to get them interested and to provide a fun experience to encourage them to
join.  That way everyone will have a friend in the scouts.

 

Each patrol should find 2 ideas for getting missing boys back into active
status.  Have ideas by Monday, August 17th.

 

Patrol activities should be scheduled at least once a quarter, including
this quarter.  Mr. Curry, Ben, and Tyler should be invited to the patrol
activities.  Patrol activities should be scheduled by Monday, August 24th.

 

Patrols will provide a list of their members, ranks, cheers, flags, and
names by Monday, August 17th.

 

Patrols should begin the process of getting their new patrol patches and
have them on their uniforms within 4 weeks.
